High Line Tour

Join us for a walking tour of the High Line with Robin Garr, formerly with The Bruce Museum, of the 1.5 mile urban park created on the remains of a no-longer-in-use, elevated freight train track. It runs from 34th Street south to Gansevoort Street on the west side of Manhattan. It features native plantings and changing art installations as well as some of New York’s most exciting new architecture. Glorious views of the Hudson River and New York streetscapes enhance the experience of the tour.

We will begin our tour at the 34th St. entrance (between 11th & 12th Aves) and continue down the entire 1.5 mile stretch ending at the Whitney Museum of American Art on Gansevoort Street. Lunch will be at Serafina’s . Following lunch, you are free to explore the 2017 Biennial art exhibition on view at the Whitney on your own.
