David Hockey exhibit at the Met. - Trip Sold Out
The Program Committee has made arrangements for Page Knox, our February speaker on David Hockney, to give a 80 minute tour of the “David Hockney” exhibit, which opens November 27th at the Met Museum. This is Hockney’s first retrospective in 29 years.. It was viewed by a half million people last spring at the “Tate”
High Line Tour
Join us for a walking tour of the High Line with Robin Garr, formerly with The Bruce Museum, of the 1.5 mile urban park created on the remains of a no-longer-in-use, elevated freight train track. It runs from 34th Street south to Gansevoort Street on the west side of Manhattan. It features native plantings and changing art installations as well as some of New York’s most exciting new architecture. Glorious views of the Hudson River and New York streetscapes enhance the experience of the tour.
