GDAS Visit to Southeby's

Erik Gronning, our speaker at the December 2016 lecture, met our group at Sotheby’s and gave us a tour of the highlights of the collections that are being auctioned off during Americana Week in January, 2017. Our hosts were Selby Kiefer, International Senior Books Specialist; John Ward, Head of Department, Silver; and Erik Gronning, Head of Department American Furniture and Decorative Arts.  It was a fascinating insight, and a big thank you goes to our Southeby's, our hosts and not least, Nancy Connors for organising the trip
